A nurse and attorney, who is recognized nationally and internationally for leadership in the areas of end-of-life care, health disparities, working with vulnerable populations, particularly among African Americans and persons with disabilities through community-based participatory research and activities.
An adjunct university faculty member in the field of bioethics who also actively practices as a consultant for bedside ethics and palliative care consultations with patients, families and caregivers at one of the nation’s most active hospital ethics and palliative care committees.
A physician with a distinguished career in building and developing palliative care and ethics programs, who directs one of New Jersey’s largest palliative care programs.
A professor at a major teaching hospital with a research interest in evidence-based interventions to improve decision making for intensive care unit patients at a high risk of death.
A noted healthcare lawyer with over twenty-five years of experience in providing expert counsel on significant bioethical legal issues and who holds a faculty teaching position in the area of medical ethics and the law.
